      Basket Overview

      Overview 

      The Basket Overview Dashboard provides insights into transaction-level trends across the cannabis market, including analysis by states, categories, and daily store performance. This dashboard allows brands, producers, and retail managers to develop strategies for cross-selling, up-selling, and maximizing overall store and brand sales. 

       

      Key Metrics Available 

      • State-Level Metrics: 
        • Total Basket Size: Average total sales per transaction (basket). 
        • Daily Baskets per Store: Number of daily baskets (transactions) per store. 
        • State-Wide Basket Overview: Aggregate view of basket size and frequency across states. 
      • Category-Level Metrics: 
        • Basket Size by Category: Average transaction size across categories (e.g., Flower, Vape, Edibles). 
        • Basket Penetration: Percentage of transactions containing products from each category. 
      • Trended Metrics: 
        • Daily Baskets per Store Over Time: Trend of baskets per store aggregated by day, week, month, quarter, or year. 
        • Total Basket Size Trends: Monitor average basket size changes over time. 
      • Product and Attribute Filters: 
        • Category Levels: Drill down into Category Level 1 through Level 5. 
        • Strain, Item Weight, THC/CBD Ranges: Filter basket metrics based on product attributes.
