      How often is Retail Sales Tracking updated?

      • Retail Sales Tracking, as well as Basket Analytics, publishes daily with data through the previous day.
        • For example, on July 2nd the data will be through July 1st.
        • The exception to this rule is Pennsylvania. Due to the nature of data collection this data will be published weekly on Wednesdays.
      • Retail Sales Tracking allows for up to three years of visible data, so as new dates are added to the dataset, the same dates three years prior are dropped.
      • Because BDSA projects sales to the total size of industry, users can expect some shifts in the total size of the market as state cannabis control boards publish the total taxable sales.
