Overview
The Price Tier Overview Dashboard segments products into key pricing tiers—Value, Mid-Tier, and Premium—allowing cannabis brands, producers, and retail managers to evaluate pricing performance, sales contributions, and trends. This tool provides actionable insights into price tier distribution across categories, states, and pack sizes.
Price Tiers
Products are classified into the following tiers based on their pricing relative to the market:
- Value: Priced at or below the 25th percentile for the same month, state, channel, category, and pack size.
- Mid-Tier: Priced between the 25th and 75th percentile for the same segment.
- Premium: Priced at or above the 75th percentile for the same segment.
Other Tiers:
- Low Sample: Products with fewer than 20 SKUs or priced under $1.
- Single Price: Products where the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentile prices are identical.
