Overview
The Pricing Overview Dashboard provides cannabis brands, producers, and retail managers with comprehensive pricing insights, covering comparisons, increments, and discount impacts. This tool supports strategic pricing decisions, promotional planning, and competitive benchmarking.
This dashboard consists of two tabs:
- Pricing Comparisons
- Price Increments and Discounting
Tab 1: Pricing Comparisons
Purpose
The Pricing Comparisons tab provides a deep dive into pricing metrics across product categories, price trends, and promotional performance.
Key Metrics
- Original List Price: The base price listed for products.
- Discounted List Price: The price after promotional discounts.
- Average List Price: Average listed price across all products.
- Pack ARP: Average retail price per pack.
- EQ ARP: Average retail price per equivalent unit.
Insights
- Pricing Snapshot: View current original, discounted, and average list prices for all products.
- Pricing Trends: Track price changes over time across categories and aggregation levels (day, week, month, etc.).
- Sales vs Price: Analyze total retail sales and pack units relative to price levels.
- Category-Level Pricing: Compare pricing metrics (Original, Discounted, ARP) across categories like Flower, Vape, and Edibles.

Tab 2: Price Increments and Discounting
Purpose
The Price Increments and Discounting tab analyzes price concentration, price sensitivity, and the lift generated by promotional discounts.

- Total Retail Sales & Pack Units: Sales volume and units at varying price points.
- Dollar and Unit Lift: Impact of discounts on sales and units.
- Pricing Increments: Distribution of sales and units across price ranges.
Insights
- Sales by Price Increments: Analyze retail sales grouped by specific price increments (e.g., $1, $5, $10).
- Price Concentration: Understand where sales are concentrated across price points.
