Florida
BDSA has been reporting Florida using our panel of retailers for several years but only to the category level to maintain retailer anonymity. This methodology enhancement does allow us to start reporting brand and product level details using our additional data sources starting April 2025. Florida continued to include a retail panel which is used to inform purchase price and projections. Due to the vertical nature of Florida's retail environment we do not report brand or product sales directly from retailer POS to protect retailer anonymity.
Products Sold in Both Tier A and Tier B Markets
Products coded in Tier B markets leverage AI to enhance the speed at which products are coded. his is will allow items to be added to the catalogue as soon as soon as transaction occur, however they will not match the manually built product catalogue from Tier A markets.
- Tier B products will have an asterisk at the end of the product description to indicate that it is an automatically built SKU
- Products that exist in both market types will be listed twice in the catalogue
- One for the Tier A catalogue and one for the Tier B catalogue
- Attributes that are manually built by BDSA's Data Management team will not be available for Tier B products
- This includes Mood Effect and Cartridge Thread Type
